Oceans are BIG! The most common thing which is polluting the ocean is Plastic. It is also hurting sea turtles and other ocean wildlife. Plastic accumulating in our oceans & on our beaches has become a global crisis. Many organization are helping to making oceans plastic-free. According to survey, between 4 & 12 million metric tons of plastic enter the ocean each year.


We need to remember one thing that we all are capable to help. Here are the different ways to save ocean pollution crisis – 

1. Reduce The Use of Plastics

The most effective way to reduce plastic is to reduce the use of plastics. Wherever you live, the easiest & most direct way that you can get started is by reducing your own use of single-use plastics. When you refuse single-use plastic items, help businesses by letting them know that you would like them to offer alternatives.


2. Recycle Properly

If you use plastic on regular basis, then you should keep in mind to recycle it properly. Because at present time, only 9% of plastic is recycled in worldwide. Recycling is one of the good way to keep plastics out of the ocean. It's also important to check with your local recycling center about the types of plastic they accept.


3. Coordinate with Organization in Their Campaign

There are many organizations/companies who are organizing the campaign to reduce the plastic from ocean and making ocean plastic-free.
